Focal Point- Kombouras


The focal point in this picture is the painting ontop of the fire place. Around the focal point you can see lines that bring out the form of the living room as well as the shadows. One can tell that the painting is the focal point, because all the colors in the living room are very dull. There are different shades of dull colors throughout the room, which could also be called gradiation. The painting is the only vivid object that contains rich colors and atracts the viewer. The painting pops out of the picture immediately once one evaluates it.
